MediQueue — A Smarter Approach to Patient Scheduling and Virtual Care

Read case studyA rapidly growing Indian D2C home-and-lifestyle brand was selling through marketplaces, a basic storefront, Instagram, and 12 physical stores — each with its own inventory truth. Festival-season traffic crashed their store twice, and marketplace commissions were eating margin. The founders wanted a brand-owned omnichannel platform that unified inventory, survived Diwali-scale traffic spikes, and turned first-time buyers into repeat customers. Devlex Infotech delivered ShopNest as their full commerce backbone.
Stock counts lived separately in marketplace panels, the web store, and store POS systems. Overselling during sales events forced cancellations that damaged marketplace ratings and burned ad spend on orders that could not ship.
We built a central inventory service that syncs stock in real time across the web store, Amazon, Flipkart, Instagram Shopping, and all 12 POS terminals. Channel-level safety buffers and automatic delisting at low stock eliminated overselling entirely.
The legacy monolith crashed at roughly 8,000 concurrent users — a fraction of Diwali campaign traffic. Every outage during a sale translated directly into lost revenue and a flood of support tickets.
ShopNest runs as a headless commerce stack — a Next.js storefront on a CDN edge backed by containerized microservices that scale horizontally on demand. The platform absorbed a 14x Diwali traffic spike with sub-second page loads and zero downtime.
With purchase history fragmented across channels, the brand could not segment customers, personalize offers, or run an effective loyalty program. Retention marketing was reduced to blanket discount blasts.
Every order from every channel now feeds a single customer profile with RFM segmentation, powering personalized recommendations, WhatsApp win-back journeys, and a points-based loyalty program redeemable online and in stores.
“Last Diwali we did 14 times our normal traffic and the site did not blink. Devlex built us infrastructure we thought only the big marketplaces could afford.”
