MediQueue — A Smarter Approach to Patient Scheduling and Virtual Care

Read case studyA mobility startup headquartered in Riyadh set out to challenge regional ride-hailing incumbents by going wider: rides, intercity travel, package delivery, and an in-app wallet under one brand. They had licenses, fleet partnerships, and funding — but needed a technology partner who could ship a three-sided marketplace (riders, drivers, merchants) in time for a hard launch window. Devlex Infotech delivered the RideOn super-app across both Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Sub-3-minute pickups across sprawling, fast-changing road networks in Riyadh and Jeddah demanded serious geospatial engineering. The incumbent-dominated market left no room for a janky first impression, and the launch date was fixed by an investor commitment.
We engineered an H3-indexed dispatch system with predictive supply positioning that nudges idle drivers toward forecast demand zones. Median match time hit 2.4 minutes citywide within the first quarter, and surge pricing stays fair through transparent in-app explanations.
Rides, intercity bookings, package delivery, and wallet payments each have different flows, pricing logic, and partner types. Bolting them together naively risked an app that felt like four products stapled into one icon.
Identity, wallet, maps, and notifications run as shared platform services, while each vertical ships as an independent module with its own team and release cadence. Users experience one seamless app; the business gained the ability to launch a new vertical in weeks.
Drivers already worked for two established platforms and would only multi-home if RideOn earned them more per hour. Slow payouts or opaque earnings would kill supply before the brand could build demand.
A dedicated driver app shows per-trip earnings breakdowns, heatmaps of high-demand zones, and quest-based bonuses — with instant payouts to local bank accounts via mada and UAE rails. Driver retention became a recruiting weapon instead of a leak.
“Every vendor promised us a super-app; Devlex actually shipped one, on the date we promised our board. Their dispatch engine matches riders faster than competitors who have been here for a decade.”
